Centuries after a nuclear apocalypse devastates Terra, humanity has been conquered by a mighty force that seems truly unstoppable. Hidden away from prying eyes, multiple fault lines are harbored, lines that could threaten to tear apart not just the Empire, but humanity’s collective survival. 

Unburdened by the woes of Empire, Nikita was your average orbital maintenance technician, underpaid, overworked, and with a haunting past. He thinks this is it, he’ll spend the rest of his life in a dead-end gig flying between planets and fixing what’s broken for a faceless corporation. That is, until he finds himself unwillingly used as a pawn by forces far greater than he could ever imagine.

When he finds himself trapped with an unfeeling Primus soldier and absurdly allied with the infamous creator of these creatures, he slowly finds out that everything everyone knew was a lie, with only weeks to decide the fate of humanity’s future.
